Why This Recipe Works Adaptively

✂️ Zero Cutting or Fish Scaling: Purchase ready-to-cook skinless salmon portions. Packages snip open effortlessly with kitchen scissors.
🧴 Squeeze & Stir Sauce: Squeeze bottles for mayonnaise, sweet chili, and Sriracha eliminate heavy jar scooping. Or use store-bought bang bang sauce to skip mixing entirely!
⚡ Low-Fatigue Air Frying: Cooks quickly in 10 minutes without heavy stovetop pans to watch, flip, or wash. Countertop oven instructions are also provided.
🍲 Easy Bowl-Serving Option: Flake over microwave rice or bagged salad kit to avoid managing multiple separate plated dishes.

Ingredients

  • 4 (5 oz) Salmon fillets, skinless
    🛒 Store Shortcut: Pre-portioned & skinless
  • ⅓ cup Mayonnaise
🛒 Store Shortcut: Squeeze bottle easy-use
  • 3 tbsp Sweet chili sauce
    🛒 Store Shortcut: Bottled ready-to-use
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp Pre-sliced green onions (or dried chives)
🛒 Store Shortcut: Produce pre-cut or optional
  • As needed Olive oil cooking spray

Helpful Equipment

• Air Fryer (or Countertop Oven)
• Perforated Parchment Liner (for easy cleanup)
• Kitchen Scissors (for package snips)
• Glass measuring cup with handle (easy grip)
• Wide spatula or tongs

Preparation Steps

  1. Prep the Salmon
Use kitchen scissors to snip open fish packaging and place salmon fillets directly on a plate. Patting dry is optional.
Adaptive Tip: Buying pre-cut skinless fillets removes the hardest prep step and keeps your hands clean.
  2. Mix or Pour the Sauce
Squeeze mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha into a small bowl or glass measuring cup with a handle. Stir with a spoon until smooth.
Adaptive Tip: Exact measuring isn’t necessary—estimating works great with this sauce.
  3. Sauce & Load Basket
Spoon about 1 tablespoon of sauce over the top of each fillet while still on the plate. Spray air fryer basket (or place parchment liner) and transfer fillets sauce-side up.
  4. Air-Fry to Perfection
Air-fry at 400°F for about 10 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Countertop Oven Option: Bake on a foil-lined tray at 400°F for 10–12 minutes if a flat tray is easier than a deep basket.
  5. Drizzle & Serve
Transfer salmon to plates or a bowl, spoon remaining sauce over top, and garnish with pre-cut green onions or dried chives.
Low-Fatigue Meal Idea: Serve as a Bang Bang Salmon Bowl over microwave rice, cauliflower rice, or a bagged salad kit!
