Why This Recipe Works Adaptively

✂️ Pre-Cut Beef & Peas: Packaged stir-fry strips and pre-trimmed snow peas eliminate heavy chopping and stringing.
🥣 Pre-Mixed Sauce: Whisking the soy sauce mixture beforehand reduces multitasking during the fast stir-fry stage.
⚡ Safer Burner Positioning: Use the burner that gives you the most stable, comfortable reach without leaning across another hot burner. Keep the pan handle turned inward and away from the counter edge.
🥄 Spoon-Portioned Service: Keep the skillet on the burner and spoon portions directly into plates or lightweight containers.

How to Prepare Asian Beef with Snow Peas

  1. Whisk Sauce & Prep
Before heating the pan, place all ingredients within reach. In a lightweight bowl or measuring cup, whisk together the soy sauce, rice wine, brown sugar, and cornstarch until smooth. Set it beside the stove.
♿ Adaptive Tip: Set the bowl or measuring cup on a non-slip mat or damp folded towel while whisking one-handed.
  2. Heat Oil
Heat the oil in a large lightweight skillet over medium-high heat on the burner that gives you the safest, most comfortable reach.
  3. Cook Beef
Add the beef strips in an even layer. Cook, stirring with a long-handled spatula, until browned and cooked through, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add Snow Peas
Add the snow peas and cook, stirring occasionally, until bright green and crisp-tender, about 3 minutes.
  5. Thicken Sauce & Serve
Stir the sauce once more, then pour it into the skillet. Stir continuously until it boils and thickens enough to coat the beef and peas, about 1 minute. Serve hot.
♿ Safety Tip: Keep the skillet on the burner while serving; spoon portions directly into plates or lightweight containers rather than lifting a hot pan.
